The Angel Charitable Trust
assists financially distressed families who are further burdened by
the expenses of having a child with cancer. These families often
have no resources available to assist them with everyday living
expenses and the Angel Charitable Trust aims to make these children
and their families more comfortable during the period of active
treatment. In 2002, 2003 the Angel Charitable Trust raised funds
through two long distance swimming events. In 2004 the Angel
Charitable Trust added a beautiful two day bike trip across
Connecticut. Over the years, these contributions have made a very
significant difference in the lives of dozens of Connecticut
families.
The
Angel Charitable Trust is a 501 (c)(3) all volunteer, not for
profit organization with 100% of the funds raised going directly to
the families. The Trust's legal representation is by Edwards &
Angell, LLC (donated services). The Trust's account is managed by
Fleet Bank's trust department (donated services). The Trust's
marketing company is Kaplowe Associates (donated services).

Benefitting The Hole In The Wall Gang
Camp
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp has been making a tremendous
difference for children with cancer and their families since its
inception in 1988. The facility in Ashford, CT is magnificent in its
planning, layout and construction. Typified by such unique
facilities as the handicap accessible tree house, the Camp gives the
children new experiences in a warm environment where they can relate
to their peers. Each year over 1,000 children with life threatening
diseases attend the camp for free. The camp also sponsors weekend
gatherings for parents and siblings, bringing together a huge
network of families fighting the same battle. The Hole in the Wall
Gang Camp is a model for dozens of other affiliated camps throughout
the world. The Camp is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
